Moved To: California with Tim Armstrong when she was 18.

As a teenager, she lived with her mother, as her biological father was kicked out when she was only 14 which made Brody feel like an outsider at home.

She started skipping school (despite exelling in music, english and art) and doing drugs, writing poems of rage and running around with the local punks. 

Before joining The Distillers, she was in an all girl punk rock band called 'Sourpuss'. That is where she met fiance to be, Tim Armstrong, the lead singer of the band 'Rancid'.

To this day, she has just got a divorce from Tim and has changed her name from Brody Armstrong, back to her maiden name, Brody Dalle.
